This week Google, Intel and Meta all announced their AI chips designed to compete with NVIDIA. The current biggest bottleneck in AI is processors, and everyone is just dying for there to be an alternative to NVIDIA to alleviate the strain on markets and suppliers.

It’s going to take a while for these chips to come to market, but overall, this is good news for everyone (except NVIDIA of course).
