NVIDIA investing $100B in OpenAI

$100B says AI isn’t slowing down. ⚡️

Nvidia just committed up to $100B to OpenAI to build ~10 GW of AI compute.

That’s not a product launch.
That’s industrial policy—funded by the private sector.

Think “AI factories,” not “apps.”

What changes now:
→ Capacity: millions of GPUs coming online
→ Economics: inference gets cheaper, use-cases get weirder
→ Winners: chipmakers, power utilities, cooling, custom silicon, agents
→ Bottlenecks: grid build-outs, power contracts, supply chains, regulation

If your 2026–2028 roadmap still assumes “pilot purgatory,” you’re already behind.

The playbook from here:

  1. Map workloads to when cheaper compute arrives

  2. Lock power + capacity partners now

  3. Re-architect data + evals for agentic systems

  4. Upskill teams for continuous deployment of AI features

This isn’t hype.
